DEVELOPMENTAL THERAPY UNIT
The Developmental Therapy Unit at CRCSRE Shillong is dedicated to providing comprehensive assessment and intervention services for children with developmental delays, neurodevelopment disorders, and other functional challenges. Our goal is to enhance the overall development of children by addressing their sensory, motor, cognitive, and social-emotional needs through individualized therapy plans.
Services Offered:
- Early Intervention – Identifying and addressing developmental concerns in infants and young children to optimize growth and learning potential.
- Sensory Integration Therapy – Helping children process and respond to sensory stimuli more effectively, improving their ability to participate in daily activities.
- Motor Skill Development – Enhancing fine and gross motor coordination to improve functional independence.
- Cognitive and Learning Support – Facilitating attention, problem-solving, and adaptive skills for better academic and daily life performance.
- Behavioural and Social Skill Training – Promoting emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction skills.
- Parent and Caregiver Training – Empowering families with strategies to support their child’s development at home and in the community.
